web development studies

The job of a Web Developer consists of putting together all the infrastructure and technical development of an Internet project. Platform choice, database design, programming of specialized routines, constructing the relations between external modules and development of online applications and services are all different tasks handled by a Web Developer.

The Web Development track requires a knowledge of XHTML. The track is divided into three levels :

basic knowledge of dynamic website

design.

This knowledge includes two modules: client-side scripting in JavaScript (development of data entry forms, command validation) and server-side scripting with PHP and MySQL (programming database requests, relational database design), categorized under Web Programmer. (30 sessions)

the main focus of the training is

the design and development of multimedia applications for the web. The language used is ActionScript 2, which is integrated in the Flash development platform, and provides a strong familiarity with object-oriented programming in the client-server platform XML/PHP.

A Web Developer is responsible for the development of multimedia applications for the web. (30 sessions)

web services

Web Services allows the sharing of information and/or applications between heterogeneous platforms, via the HTTP protocole, while avoiding integration problems.

It allows an application to automatically find the service it needs on the Internet and to securely exchange data with it.

These are components implemented in any language, used on any platform and wrapped in a layer of standards based on XML (SOAP, WSDL).

Their service-oriented architecture is the focus for the development of intranet platforms for large corporations.
