pedagogical method
Ateliers Nomades created and developed a method of teaching since 1990 that is characterized by:
•
a global approach to teaching focused on professional practice. The study of the necessary tools while analyzing practical cases and applying concrete cases, guarantees that the participants will be able to be productive immediately after finishing their training;
integration of a complete, professional project at each step of the training. The technical and fuctional requirements of the project are established at the beginning, but each partcipant chooses his or her own subject;
certification based on the skills demonstrated in the final project.
project development
Each step of the training is followed by a personal project whose subject is up to the participant.
The project has several purposes:
• It brings together the knowledge acquired during the training and the student’s previous knowledge and experience.
• It allows the student to develop a work
method and to practice using project management tools in a way that is specific to the objectives of each project.
• It is a professional asset for each participant
that demonstrates practical skills.
The project is tested, edited and evaluated. Certification is then granted.
IT certification
knowledge evaluation and certification
The design, development, and publication of a website require not only technical skills, but also an analysis of the client's needs, content management, ergonomics and project management. All of these skills are required for job certification and are part of the editing and evaluation process of the final project.
Certification is granted by Ateliers Nomades only when these skills have been thoroughly demonstrated through the development of a site published on the Internet. Each level of training is specific to the particular Certification associated with that set of job skills.
This method of certification enjoys a high level of credibility among professionals, companies and communication agencies.
nomades identities values and culture
Every community, every social group and, to a certain extent, every individual possesses their own view of the world. This is culture and cultures.
There are as many different cultures as there are visions of the world. Each culture has its own system of values.
The nomadic view of the world is one where ancient, sedentary civilizations are in decline and where a new kind of society, based on mobility, is emerging.
The nomadic society, like the sedentary society, generates a type of identity based on neither the same identity markers nor on the same values.
While the sedentary society's identity lies in being rooted in a familiar context and an environment of territorial and social recognition, the nomadic identity lies in recognizing and understanding that which is different, multipolar and multicultural, that is, from mobility and change.
Communities without local roots are being built all over the world by sharing lifestyles and common values.
Thus, that which upsets and destabilizes some will comfort others, develop their personality and help to construct their culture and identity. Nomadic culture is one of autonomy, endurance, sharing and respect for others.
